Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Engineers and Designers
About The Position
AECOM’s Southeast Transportation business line is hiring Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Engineers and Designers at junior, mid, and senior levels, including MOT Task Leads and CAD Designers. The team works on transportation projects throughout the southern United States, including alternative delivery and mega-projects. The positions are expected to be hybrid and based out of a local AECOM office. Relocation assistance may be available. The work may include developing design packages for highway improvement projects and designing traffic-control plans and other MOT elements. AECOM is a global infrastructure consulting firm that works with public- and private-sector clients across the project lifecycle, from planning and design to engineering and construction management.
Requirements
- MOT CAD Designers: bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
- Junior-level Engineers: bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
- Mid-level Engineers: bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
- Senior-level Engineers and Task Leads: bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 10 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
- Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not available now or in the future.
Nice To Haves
- Design/Build or alternative delivery project experience.
- Experience or interest in developing design packages for highway improvement projects.
- Experience with Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads.
- Experience in MOT design, including cross sections, typical cross sections, traffic control plans, profiles, temporary signing and pavement markings, and detour routes.
- EIT certification or PE license.
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
