Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Engineers and Designers
About The Position
AECOM is seeking Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Engineers and Designers at junior, mid, and senior levels, as well as MOT CAD Designers, to join its growing Southeast Transportation team throughout the southern US. The team works on transportation projects, including alternative delivery and mega-projects, and develops design packages for highway improvement projects. Positions are expected to be hybrid and based out of a local AECOM office. Newly hired employees must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location. Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future. Relocation assistance may be available.
Requirements
- MOT CAD Designers: Bachelor of Science degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
- Junior-level engineers: Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 2 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
- Mid-level engineers: Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 6 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
- Senior-level engineers and task leads: Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 10 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
Nice To Haves
- Design/Build or alternative delivery project experience.
- Experience or interest in developing design packages for highway improvement projects.
- Experience with Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads.
- Experience in MOT design, including cross sections, typical cross sections, traffic control plans, profiles, temporary signing and pavement markings, and detour routes.
- EIT certification or PE license.
- Master’s degree in engineering.
