Maintenance Modification Intern

About The Position
The intern will collaborate with team members to provide engineering support on Maintenance and Modification projects. Projects include repair of freight cars through structural modifications and replacement of railcar components, conversion of freight cars from one service to another, creation of supplemental documents for maintenance instructions and modifications, and reviewing data related to maintenance on our railcars. The intern will also review repair processes to identify discrete steps and estimate time required to complete the repair.
Requirements
- Major(s): Mechanical Engineering.
- Year in school: completed at least 1 year at an accredited college/university.
- Specific course work: Statics, Strength of Materials, AutoCad, SolidWorks or other 3D modeling.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Min GPA of 2.5

Responsibilities
