Requirements

Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair skills.
Small fabricating skills.
Electrical maintenance skills (if certified).
Welding skills (MIG) in aluminum and steel.
Ability to maintain the maintenance shop in accordance with 5S.
Ability to identify and record equipment problems.
Ability to initiate, recommend, or provide solutions to machine problems.
Ability to maintain maintenance records.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in using email for communication.
Willingness to be fitted for and wear a full-face respirator.

Electrical certification.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and maintain all plant equipment and production tooling, including related building maintenance.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures on plant production equipment.
Perform small fabricating tasks.
Troubleshoot and perform electrical maintenance if holding electrical certification.
Perform equipment installation, build, or design as required.
Perform routine maintenance (PMs) and inspections, and document accordingly in the internal electronic database.
Participate in the Emergency Response Team and related activities, including being fitted for and wearing a full-face respirator.
Perform welding (MIG) in aluminum and steel.
Maintain the maintenance shop in accordance with 5S.
Identify and record any problems related to process equipment through designated channels.
Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions to machine problems through designated channels.
Maintain maintenance records, such as preventative maintenance (PM) measures.
Work with minimal supervision to plan assigned jobs and tasks.
Use email correspondence to communicate progress on projects and general correspondence.
Perform other duties as assigned.
