About The Position

Domtar, Menominee Operations is seeking two (2) talented individuals to join our team as Maintenance Millwrights. One position is a day shift position, and the other position is a Shift Millwright (12-hour rotating shift). The Millwright will maintain machinery and equipment in a safe and timely manner to ensure plant run ability. Additional responsibilities include preventive maintenance tasks that include inspections, lubrication, and time-based maintenance. Millwrights will also need to assemble and install new machinery and equipment as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Four (4) years of experience in a related field.
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an industrial environment.
Self-directed individual.
Excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to participate in off-hours support (call-ins, overtime, etc.).

Nice To Haves

Journeyman’s certification.
Equivalent experience without certifications.
Additional certifications or experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
Related experience in the pulp and paper industry.

Responsibilities

Participate in off-hours support, including call-ins and overtime.
