About The Position

Sylvamo’s Ticonderoga, NY Mill is located on the shores of Lake Champlain. Operating since 1971, the mill produces high-end printing and technical papers using resources harvested from Adirondack and Vermont forests. The facility employs over 600 people focused on safety, environment, quality, and production.

This is a journeyman-level millwright position responsible for completing scheduled and routine maintenance work, along with performing other duties independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Experience as a millwright apprentice or helper and attained journeyman status.
• Mechanical industrial technology degree.
• Certificate from an accredited college or trade school.
• Willingness and ability to work all shifts.
