About The Position

Mozaic Senior Life is seeking a dependable, skilled, and hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to join our Facilities team. This position is responsible for maintaining our buildings, equipment, grounds, and mechanical systems while helping ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot problems independently, respond well to changing priorities, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and potential safety concerns.
• Perform preventative maintenance to help keep equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently.
• Complete general repairs and maintenance involving buildings, equipment, machinery, fixtures, and other facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs.
• Respond to maintenance work orders and complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and within established timeframes.
• Perform repairs to machines, equipment, structures, and other facility components as needed.
• Assist with emergency situations, including fire and life-safety procedures, facility emergencies, and on-call services.
• Assist with snow and ice removal during winter weather, including operating snowplows, spreaders, and other snow-removal equipment.
