About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic 4 performs preventative maintenance and equipment repairs to minimize equipment downtime. Routinely diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs mechanical and electrical issues safely and efficiently. Provides day-to-day operation support and troubleshooting. Follows company policy, GMP, and safety guidelines. This role is part of our Dairy Food business, which creates dairy products that stand for real, simple goodness. We believe there’s power in every drop of milk our farmers produce, and by improving production and finding innovative uses for that milk, we add a little good to people’s lives.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
6+ months of industrial or building facility maintenance experience
Basic computer and math skills
Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and product manuals
Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful

Nice To Haves

2+ years’ experience working with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps.
LOTO experience
Forklift experience

Responsibilities

Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly
Monitors performance of plant machinery and equipment for proper operating performance; performs regular and preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnoses, tests, troubleshoots, and inspections on all machinery and equipment; documents work accordingly
Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed
Able to multi-task and keep up with demands in a fast-paced environment
May participate in training or troubleshooting at other locations or in Arden Hills, MN.
May participate in troubleshooting at other LOL plants.
