As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the equipment and facility systems that enable our manufacturing operations to succeed.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair skills
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions, diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and machine shop equipment
  • Basic mathematical skills, including measurements, formulas, and geometric calculations
  • Ability to identify problems and apply practical solutions in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer skills for entering maintenance and timekeeping data
  • 2–4 years of industrial, building, or equipment maintenance experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) due to access to export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues by observing equipment operation and identifying the root cause of failures.
  • Dismantle, inspect, repair, and replace defective machinery components.
  • Measure and evaluate worn parts to determine repair or replacement requirements.
  • Adjust equipment and control systems using hand tools, levels, and precision measuring devices.
  • Fabricate, modify, and install replacement parts using machine shop equipment and metalworking tools.
  • Operate equipment such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and related shop machinery.
  • Test, lubricate, and maintain equipment to verify safe and effective operation.
  • Order maintenance parts and supplies as needed to support repair activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
