What this job involves: The Maintenance Mechanic has wide ranging responsibilities for the electrical and mechanical systems at the assigned buildings; including but not limited to the following: Performs service requests, ensuring that work is executed professionally, efficiently and with minimum amount of disruption to the client. Completes general maintenance tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, plumbing repairs, change light bulbs / ballasts, hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems as assigned. Responds effectively to emergencies and support after-hours building related activity as requested. Troubleshoots system and equipment failures. Complies with policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintains records for work completed in a neat and organized manner. Maintains machinery, equipment and tools in working order. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Performs other maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and use ladders up to 26'
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude a must
  • Knowledge of office furniture systems
  • Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate well verbally, email and written reports
  • Speak fluent English
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years related experience
  • Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
