Requirements

Technical school training or equivalent hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
4-6 years of direct hands-on experience with production equipment maintenance and repair.
Specialized trade knowledge, equivalent to 1-3 years of training, in areas such as electrical systems or mechanical repair.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as amp meters, electrical meters, and hydraulic gauges.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve practical problems in non-standardized situations.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions) are required.
Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals, blueprints, charts, and diagrams.
Must demonstrate maturity, responsibility, and professionalism in all work performed.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems without manuals.
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and engineering drawings.
Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pumps, and pneumatics systems.
Advanced electrical skills, including a deep understanding of electrical systems and components.
Experience working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively.

Nice To Haves

PLC knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate electrical/electronic test equipment for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical drives, servo motors, and electronic control systems.
Perform electrical circuit installation, replacement, and modifications with minimal supervision.
Complete electrical projects, modifications, and repairs to the highest standards of quality.
Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble both mechanical and electrical production equipment.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and manuals to perform maintenance and repairs.
Communicate effectively with team members to resolve equipment issues and provide guidance.
Lead and mentor maintenance associates in troubleshooting techniques and proper repair methods.
Develop and document maintenance procedures in areas of expertise.
Prioritize maintenance tasks based on production needs and resource availability.
Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts, recommending optimal stock levels.
Collaborate with the engineering department on various projects as needed.
Follow all work instructions, safety policies, and procedures, including the use of PPE and safety equipment.
