Kyocera International, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic at our Hendersonville, NC facility! As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of production equipment and facility systems. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Intermediate computer skills
Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Must be eligible to work in an ITAR-regulated environment
Ability to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily
The employee is continuously required to talk or hear; regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC equipment issues
Complete scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime
Assist with machine installations, equipment moves, and facility improvement projects
Coordinate with managers, engineers, vendors, and contractors to keep operations running smoothly
Maintain maintenance records and purchase parts using SAP
Follow all safety, environmental, lockout/tagout, and 5S procedures
Perform general facility maintenance, including minor building repairs, painting, plumbing, and HVAC support
