Requirements

  • High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or High School GED General Studies, upon hire
  • 2-3 yrs experience in maintenance
  • Driver's License: KY, upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Performing skilled mechanical maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshooting, inspecting, and maintaining a wide range of machinery and building systems.
  • Executing preventative maintenance.
  • Responding to repair requests.
  • Ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Correcting and repairing minor plumbing, to include flush valve, drain stoppage, faucet repairs and shower valve repairs.
  • Correcting med gas valve leaks by rebuilding front bodies as required.
  • Correcting and repairing minor electrical problems such as replacing ballasts, receptacles and light switches.
  • Performing all general maintenance assignments as required.
  • Completing inspections according to established procedures completing log sheets, checklists and PM sheets as required.
  • Completing required documentation in reference to mechanical systems as required by federal, state and regulatory agencies.
