About The Position

Plenus Group, Inc. is looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join their growing team in Lowell, MA. In this role, you will maintain and repair the equipment that produces high-quality soups, sauces, and specialty food products. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience maintaining automated manufacturing or packaging equipment.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software and basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of food processing equipment and sanitary manufacturing practices.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain food processing and packaging equipment.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Install, modify, and improve production equipment.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Complete work orders, maintenance records, and equipment documentation.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, GMP, and workplace safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to improve equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
