About The Position

Plenus Group, Inc. is looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join their growing team in Lowell, MA. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Experience maintaining automated manufacturing or packaging equipment.
Familiarity with CMMS software and basic computer skills.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
Knowledge of food processing equipment and sanitary manufacturing practices.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain food processing and packaging equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Install, modify, and improve production equipment.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Complete work orders, maintenance records, and equipment documentation.
Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies.
Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, GMP, and workplace safety standards.
Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to improve equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
