About The Position

This is a full-time position for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician / Equipment Mechanic. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment, including older CNC machines. The technician will also assist in the installation of new equipment and provide on-the-job training to new employees. The position requires working with minimum supervision and adhering to all safety and health procedures.

Requirements

• 3 -5 years of industrial experience required
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
• Ability to read tape measure accurately
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
• Safety glasses, ear protection, steel toed boots and gloves

Nice To Haves

• Use of grinder / welding equipment requires face shield or goggles

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair all types of industrial equipment including older CNC machines
• Read prints and electrical schematics and use all test meters and equipment, such as ohmmeters, voltage meters, oscilloscopes, ammeters and test lamps
• Assist in installation of service for new equipment for voltages ranging from 110V to 416V, single phase and three phase, DC drives, numerical controls, welding machines, and hydraulic systems
• Confer with management to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment, and to insure the safety of personnel
• Work with minimum supervision
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees
• Follow all safety and health procedures issued by the company
