About The Position
Kiewit is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic Journeyman for their project located in Santa Teresa, NM. This role requires a skilled individual to maintain, diagnose, and repair all types of heavy construction equipment, including hydraulic, electric, and power train systems. The position involves working in a construction/industrial environment with exposure to changing outdoor weather conditions and requires the ability to work irregular hours, weekends, and overtime as needed. Safety and compliance with all rules are paramount.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- Must be able to maintain, diagnose, and repair all types of heavy construction equipment including hydraulic, electric, and power train systems.
- Experience working with the following equipment: Caterpillar, Liebherr, Xtreme, Takeuchi.
- Experience working with the following diagnostic systems: CAT ET, Cummins INSITE, Diesel Laptop.
- Must have required tools.
- Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing and fit for duty medical and non DOT physical test.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair all types of heavy construction equipment including hydraulic, electric, and power train systems.
- Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
- Perform other duties as required.
Benefits
- Up to $35 per hour.
- $700 per week per diem.
