About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair warehouse vehicles and equipment, including forklifts, trailers, conveyors, and other power equipment. The role provides mechanical support through diagnosis, preventive maintenance, major repairs, and accident repairs. It also includes general building and facility maintenance involving water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems.

This is a second-shift position, scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Pay is $30.00–$35.00 per hour, with a shift differential for second and weekend shifts. The position is onsite.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a Department of Transportation exam.
• Pass a mechanical aptitude test.
• At least 2 years of facility maintenance experience.
• At least 6 months of related experience.
• 2–5 years of equipment maintenance experience.
• 1 year of fleet experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily maintenance work.
• Repair forklifts, conveyors, maintenance equipment, trailers, and other warehouse power equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to support service reliability.
• Review pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms to identify immediate maintenance needs.
• Ensure internal and external maintenance work meets company standards.
• Monitor vehicle condition and performance to ensure compliance with company driving policies.
• Manage parts inventory at an economical level to support efficient operations.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Maintain HVAC systems and perform minor water and electrical repairs.
• Perform general maintenance and carpentry work on floors, walls, doors, and other facility components.
• Ensure safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete required reports after maintenance tasks.
• Respond to security and alarm calls as needed.
