About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Plant Operations Director, the Maintenance Mechanic II performs maintenance, repairs, and installation of hospital and clinic equipment and mechanical systems. The role maintains accurate records and ensures new equipment is entered into the facility Equipment Management System.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• An associate degree in a relevant field of study and 2 years of work-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Obtain an ODL Class II Boiler Operator license within 6 months of hire.
• Competency in relevant maintenance areas including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and plant operations.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hospital maintenance.
• Mechanical Journeyman License.
• Relevant experience troubleshooting main components in plant operations and building maintenance, involving critical-thinking skills.
