About The Position

Bostik is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for its on-site manufacturing environment in Conyers, Georgia. The role repairs and maintains manufacturing, packaging, and material-handling equipment, performs preventive and predictive maintenance, and troubleshoots electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. The mechanic supports continuous improvement and works with production teams, vendors, and contractors while following safety and compliance standards. The position offers hands-on training and advancement opportunities in a supportive, team-first environment focused on safety. The schedule is first shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. Travel is minimal.

Requirements

High school diploma with continuing education or certifications in industrial maintenance.
3–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems such as SAP.

Nice To Haves

PLC experience, including Allen Bradley or Siemens.
Welding experience.
Blueprint-reading experience.
Formal technical training.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain manufacturing, packaging, and material handling equipment with minimal supervision.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to support equipment reliability and uptime.
