About The Position

Domtar, Menominee Operations is seeking a talented individual to join our team. This position is a Monday – Friday 1st shift position. This position will assist maintenance on daily and down tasks as needed, which may be outside of regular hours. We offer an exceptionally clean work environment and a strong commitment to safety, with nearly 16 years without a lost-time accident and almost 14 years without a recordable accident. The current hourly pay range is $30.00 to $38.26, depending on experience. Employees are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package beginning with their first pay period. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior experience in an industrial environment.
Previous mechanical experience, preferably with forklifts.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems.
Understanding and knowledge of Preventative Maintenance.
Self-directed individual.
Excellent trouble shooting/problem solving skills.
Good written and oral skills.
Professional.
Able to work both independently and as part of our team.

Responsibilities

Safely and properly maintain mobile and associated equipment in a timely manner to ensure proper reliability.
Troubleshoot and repair all mobile equipment, bucket and scissor lifts, pressure washers and fuel storage tanks.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks to provide on above equipment to ensure proper reliability.
Assist maintenance on daily and down tasks as needed.
Housekeeping of equipment and work area.
Complete and maintain proper paperwork for inspections, stores and work orders.
