The Facilities and Capital Projects area is responsible for the system operations and interior/exterior maintenance of 26 buildings across campus, including an award-winning automotive training center, a visual arts building, computer centers, laboratories, a student center, a theater, a gymnasium, a child-care center, a multimedia center, and the Ray W. Howard Library/Technology Center. Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Specialist 4, this position is responsible for performing journey level skilled work in the operation, maintenance, repair, remodeling and construction of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment and systems in buildings and on the grounds.
