About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join our facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of facility machinery and mechanical equipment. From preventative maintenance on production systems to general facility electrical and plumbing repairs, you will play a critical role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely every day.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional industrial or facility maintenance experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer’s specifications.
• Strong manual dexterity for operating heavy machinery and basic computer systems.
• Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and arithmetic
• A proactive approach to troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, engines, motors, and pneumatic tools using precision-measuring instruments and power tools.
• Execute predictive and preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime for all facility equipment.
• Inspect and monitor heating/AC units, change filters/belts, lubricate bearings, and clean evaporators and condenser cells.
• Perform routine electrical repairs (testing circuits, replacing switches/ballasts) and plumbing tasks (fixing leaks, unplugging drains, and installing new fixtures).
• Perform welding, fabrication, and the assembly/disassembly of pumps, valves, and power transfer components.
• Handle interior/exterior painting and general wall prep; ensure work areas are kept clean and organized.
• Maintain accurate daily repair logs and strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior maintenance staff as needed.
