About The Position

Provide maintenance expertise in the Processing facilities working as a team member to make sure that food products are processed according to quality specifications and customer needs.

Requirements

• Record keeping, organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate and work as a team member.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form.
• Ability to communicate to adhere to safety standards.
• Ability to use a pallet jack is required.
• Must show a positive attitude and work well with others.
• Successful applicant is expected to stay in the position for 6 months.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with programmable logic controllers and computers.
• Basic understanding of the operation of a lathe.
• Previous work experience as a mechanic in food processing plants or fish processing plants.
• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Experience providing maintenance in food/agriculture setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Processing Equipment that Produces Products for Customers, including Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatics, Welding, Electrical, and Industrial Shop Tools.
• Ability to work on various processing machines and equipment as required.
• Communicate and Work as a Team Member.
• Participate in some discussion about confidential/sensitive matters.
• Communicate with employees and others through written, oral and face-to-face interactions.
• Assist other team members in completion of work.
• Communicate with fellow employees to complete tasks and adhere to safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible work schedules with varying hours as required.
• Miscellaneous Duties as assigned.
