C+K employees are self-starters, detail-orientated and adaptable. We are currently hiring for the position of Maintenance Technician. This position will be based out of Easton, PA.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, or building maintenance is strongly preferred.
  • Usually 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance or industrial repair.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work in varied environmental conditions (hot/cold/loud).
  • Skill in using electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of machines, equipment, and facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to prevent breakdowns.
  • Repairs: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues and repair/replace defective parts using specialized tools.
  • Facility Upkeep: Perform general maintenance, including painting, carpentry, structural repairs, and exterior maintenance (e.g., snow removal).
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all machinery and building operations adhere to safety standards (e.g., OSHA, fire codes).
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repair costs, and service logs in a computerized system.
  • Emergency Response: Serve as the primary contact for facility-related emergencies, such as power outages or leaks.
