About The Position

This customer-service-focused position is responsible for facility maintenance of buildings and equipment essential to the operation of a clinic or hospital. The Maintenance Mechanic may assist with or perform a variety of repairs, general maintenance, and mechanical maintenance, including work involving HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping.

The role is onsite at Froedtert West Bend Hospital in West Bend, Wisconsin. It is a first-shift position with 40 standard hours per week. Holidays are required, and weekend work occurs every six weeks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required for first- and second-shift staff.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of two years of building maintenance or plant operations experience.
• Mechanic certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and equipment essential to clinic or hospital operations.
• Assist with or perform repair work, general maintenance, and mechanical maintenance.
• Perform maintenance work that may involve HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping.
