About The Position

This customer service-focused position is responsible for maintaining buildings and equipment essential to operations in a clinic or hospital setting. The Maintenance Mechanic may assist with or perform a variety of repair work, general maintenance, and mechanical maintenance, including work involving HVAC, electrical systems, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and grounds-keeping. The position is onsite at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver's license is required for first- and second-shift staff.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2 years of building maintenance or plant operations experience is preferred.
• Mechanic certification or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and equipment essential to clinic or hospital operations.
• Assist with or perform repair work and general and mechanical maintenance.
• Perform maintenance involving HVAC, electrical systems, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and grounds-keeping.
