The Maintenance Mechanic will maintain the organization's production equipment. This role involves performing electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures. The mechanic will repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, such as die cutters, web and sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments. The role may also involve repairing or reproducing parts using welders or machine shop equipment. The position requires the ability to rotate shifts in a 3-shift rotation schedule and work daily/weekly overtime as required.
