About The Position

This role requires an individual with basic mechanical and electrical skills to assist with or perform preventative and corrective tasks on process and facility equipment. The mechanic must be knowledgeable in the proper use of hand and power tools, as well as special equipment tools. Maintaining a high standard of personal integrity, conduct, open and honest communication, and respect for others is essential. The position also involves completing daily computer tasks to keep PM and work orders up to date, with accountability for accuracy and clarity in documentation, parts, causes, and comments. Punctuality and adherence to all safety policies, general manufacturing policies, and food safety guidelines are required. The mechanic must be motivated to increase knowledge and gain experience in all aspects of the Maintenance field, completing assigned tasks safely and in a timely fashion.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical and electrical skills.
• Knowledgeable with the proper use of hand and power tools.
• Knowledgeable with all special equipment tools.
• Ability to complete daily computer tasks.
• Accountable for accuracy and clarity of work completed documentation, parts, causes, comments, etc.
• Punctual.
• Adhere to all safety policies, general manufacturing policies, and food safety guidelines.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in a safe and timely fashion.
• Motivated to increase knowledge and to gain experience in all aspects of the Maintenance field.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
