About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN (as needed) Maintenance Mechanic to cover their Temple Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital for on-call and weekend hours. This role involves performing general mechanical and preventive tasks, including inspecting, servicing, drywall repair, painting, and overhauling physical plant equipment. Duties are performed with a focus on patient and employee safety, aiming to enhance the patient/employee experience by maintaining and improving the environment.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, repair, and safety procedures required.
- Current and valid state Driver License required.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Trade or vocational school background preferred.
- 10 years in facility maintenance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs general mechanical and preventive tasks.
