Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must work in a team environment
Maintain adherence to work hours scheduled specifically starting, ending, lunch and break schedules
Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and safety guidelines
Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles
Perform all other duties as assigned

Nice To Haves

Trade or Technical Certification and/or Diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Ability to repair equipment during breakdowns.
Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and work orders.
Use tools ranging from common hand tools and power tools.
Inspect, operate, or test faulty machinery or equipment.
Ability to inspect or test programmable controllers and motors to diagnose machine malfunctions using voltmeters or other troubleshooting tools.
Maintain accurate documentation of assignments, machine repairs, and parts inventory utilizing the site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Work effectively with department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.
Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP), Plant Safety Regulations, Quality Control Standards and plant policies.
Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Food (SQF).
