About The Position

As a maintenance mechanic at Clysar, LLC, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines. This includes thoroughly cleaning machines and machine parts, oiling and lubricating moving parts, and recording and reporting damaged, worn, or broken parts. You will also install replacement parts, identify the causes of unexpected breakdowns, and repair broken machines efficiently. The role involves preparing reports documenting work performed, and maintaining shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies. Additionally, you will make necessary modifications, implement test runs, and consult with the product manager regarding test results and required alterations.

Requirements

2+ years of verifiable maintenance mechanic experience
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
Must be able to visually inspect machines.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

2-year degree in related field preferred

Responsibilities

Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently.
Prepare reports documenting work performed.
Clean, organize, stock, and otherwise maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
