About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The starting hourly rate for this position is $27.92. Employees follow a wage progression schedule and will reach $30.61 per hour after 16 months. In addition, there is a shift premium of $0.50. Requirements

Ability to operate Rigging Equipment to include nylon straps, wire braded straps, wire braded chain slings, sheet stock handler, rail rack attachment and spreader bars.
Ability to wear Fall protection Body Harness and lanyard

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and mechanical issues.
Install, repair, and/or fabricate new equipment and components as needed.
Supporting the Tier 1 & 2 operational processes through completion of action cards and rapid response activities.
Support physical transformation and continuous improvement (GDP) initiatives throughout the facility.
