About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic I, you will play a critical role in keeping our production facility running safely and efficiently. You will use your mechanical expertise to perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment and systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting, improving equipment reliability, and working as part of a team in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Understand and communicate efficiently in English (verbal/written).
  • Ability to use basic computer applications, and update work information in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, at heights (4 feet and above) and in confined spaces, performing physical tasks including lifting up to 55 lbs, climbing, bending, and twisting, while wearing required PPE in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 110°F with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience utilizing HVAC, boiler, chiller, air compressor, or similar mechanical systems.
  • Experience applying MIG/TIG welding and fabrication skills.
  • Experience using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, and laser alignment tools.
  • Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent or bring 3+ years of maintenance experience.
  • Experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance on production and facility equipment.
  • Install, maintain, test, and repair mechanical components and systems including pumps, piping, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes.
  • Interpret mechanical schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Operate standard maintenance tools and mobile equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and power tools.
  • Document completed work, findings, and follow-up actions using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Collaborate with peers, vendors, and supervisors to support continuous improvement and safe work practices.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
