Responsibilities Complete Building Services is seeking a Building Maintenance Mechanic to join our Operations and Maintenance team. This role is responsible for performing preventive and routine maintenance at a large facility located in Washington, DC. The scheduled work hours for this position are Monday-Friday 10:30 am-7:30pm.

Requirements

3 years experience operating and maintaining commercial buildings in the last 5 years
Requires reliable transportation
High school diploma or GED preferred
Hands on equipment experience including, but not limited to: changing filters, grease bearings, repairing flush valves, stop valves, change ballast/light bulbs
Excellent customer service skills
EPA Universal 608 (CFC) license

Responsibilities

Perform daily tours of all mechanical rooms, computer rooms, electrical rooms, garages, roofs and all other areas as assigned.
Complete routine PM's (change filters, belts, clean coils, etc.) on AHU's, FCU's, exhaust fans and other mechanical equipment as assigned.
Ability to troubleshoot HVAC equipment and make minor repairs.
Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge to troubleshoot and make necessary repairs to commercial light fixtures, outlets, toilets and urinals.
Maintain equipment to industry standards.
General skills to repair door hardware and blinds.
Complete weekly generator and fire pump tests.
Help with event set ups and tear downs.
Provide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required.
Be able to support snow removal as needed.
Interface with building manager and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction.
