Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Three (3) years' of experience within the past five (5) years as a Maintenance Mechanic in a commercial or government building
Must possess ability to identify common causes of building system failures
Must possess ability to conduct routine testing procedures
Meet project assignments on time
Must possess ability work on several assignments simultaneously and prioritize work

Nice To Haves

CFC/EPA certification preferred

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and building requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry work.
Repairs and maintenance of: Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery
Replace ballast, electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors
Basic plumbing, replace flush valve, wax ring, leaks, sinks, etc.
Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets
Patch minor holes and cracks in walls or ceilings using plaster or compound
Painting of structures and equipment
Replace damaged ceiling and floor tiles
Repair doors and install door locks
Replace broken window panes
Perform other duties as assigned
