About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities. He performs building of new equipment and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Performs preventive maintenance tasks as per generated work orders.
Performs corrective maintenance tasks as requested.
Works with engineering to build new manufacturing equipment.
Installs or moves equipment as requested by Engineering.
Wire electrical enclosures
Fabricates replacement parts using machine shop equipment.
Performs miscellaneous building/facilities maintenance.
Complies with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Other duties as required by Supervisor.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Maintenance Technician or relevant position.
• Technical Capacity to execute equipment repairs and maintenance
• Good analytical critical thinking. Must have initiative and be results driven.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have demonstrated leadership ability.
• Minimum of three years or more of experience in mechanical and/or electric maintenance required.
• High School or relevant technical professional experience.
