About The Position

This role is for a Maintenance Technician at Albertsons Companies, focusing on ensuring the operational status of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. The position involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and contributing to the increase of mechanical uptime to support the production of high-quality baked goods. The technician will work closely with operations and other site teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role is based in Richmond, CA.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 plus years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing.
  • 1 plus years of experience with mechanical/electrical repair.
  • Knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Basic PLC knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in noisy environments.

Nice To Haves

  • LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) License preferred.
  • EPA Refrigeration Certification preferred.
  • Forklift or powered equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Follow diagrams, manuals, and specifications for repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and identify malfunctions.
  • Inspect and remove defective parts using hand and power tools.
  • Measure and adjust part dimensions as needed.
  • Communicate preventive maintenance needs and ensure compliance.
  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Complete daily maintenance paperwork and prepare equipment setups.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
