About The Position

The responsibilities of this position include maintenance, repair and installation of a wide variety of building and mechanical, piping and electrical systems associated with office, laboratory and pilot-scale dosage drug product development within the Research and Development department in Webster Groves, MO. This position handles preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, general facility work, and equipment improvements as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years hands-on maintenance experience in facilities or laboratory maintenance.
  • Familiarity with National Electric Code, electrical schematics and electrical troubleshooting.

  • Universal Certification for CFCs.

  • Ability to make decisions with minimal information.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot HVAC systems, gas fired and electric boilers, chillers, cooling towers, USP and deionized water systems, compressed air systems, HVAC controls, and building automation systems.
  • Maintain instrumentation, electrical controls, motor controls and PLCs.
  • Troubleshoot building, mechanical, electrical and piping systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and document completion using Maximo.
  • Support capital project execution, schedule and direct contractors, and apply construction management knowledge.
  • Adhere to safety and compliance standards.
