About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic at Clysar, LLC, you will maintain, inspect, clean, and repair machines. You will identify causes of unexpected breakdowns, install replacement parts, and make machinery modifications as needed. You will document work performed and maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies. The role also includes conducting test runs and discussing results with the product manager.

Requirements

At least 2 years of verifiable maintenance mechanic experience.
Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
Able to visually inspect machines.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

A 2-year degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
Clean machines and machine parts, removing and reinstalling parts as necessary.
Oil and lubricate moving machine parts.
Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
Install replacement parts for machines.
Identify causes of unexpected machine breakdowns.
Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently.
Prepare reports documenting work performed.
Clean, organize, stock, and maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
Make necessary machinery modifications and conduct test runs; confer with the product manager about test results and make additional alterations as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
