About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical health of assigned wash locations, performing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting, ordering parts, documenting repairs, and training team members on equipment usage. Adherence to company policies and safety standards is crucial.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
5+ years of industrial/commercial equipment repair and maintenance
5+ years of electrical troubleshooting and repair
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work on a ladder
Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods of time
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Ability to read electrical and/or mechanical schematics
Ability to research information to find solutions
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to manage time and complete repairs within scheduled timelines
Self-starter and able to work independently or in a team environment
Strong understanding of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) protocols

Nice To Haves

Welding experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Oversee the mechanical and electrical health of up to 3-4 assigned wash locations
Perform all mechanical and electrical repairs
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical components
Schedule projects/repairs
Order necessary replacement parts and keep stock of necessary spare parts
Address and repair emergency break downs in a timely manner
Document future and past repairs using a CMMS program or spreadsheet
Provide training to car wash team members on proper use of equipment to prevent downtime
Adhere to company vehicle policies
Adhere to all OSHA and Quick Quack safety standards
