About The Position

Complete Building Services is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to work Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm in Hanover, MD. Complete Building Services (CBS) is a building operations and facilities maintenance company and a division of The Donohoe Companies, Inc. - Washington's oldest real estate company. The Maintenance Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to assigned equipment.

Requirements

• Three to Five (3-5) years experience in basic maintenance of electrical, lights, ballast, chillers, painting, drywall, plumbing, exhaust fans, AHU filters, fan belts, unit heaters, waterless toilet, fan-coil units, and fire alarm panels
• Three to Five (3-5) years of Commercial building experience
• Reliable transportation
• Be willing to work occasional over time as necessary
• Strong customer service skills
• Available for on-call emergencies

Responsibilities

• Repairs of basic electrical, lights and ballast
• Tours/logs/run chillers
• Painting and drywall
• Plumbing and maintenance on exhaust fans
• Change AHU filters
• Change fan belts, unit heaters, waterless toilet, fan-coil units
• Experience with fire alarm panels along with daily equipment tours
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Perform preventative maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to assigned equipment
