About The Position

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our Stafford, TX location. In this role, you will receive training on how to repair our world-class Print Production equipment. You will perform difficult and complex technical maintenance duties, following a preventative maintenance schedule for production machines and electrical/electronic equipment. Additionally, you will ensure the completion of assigned maintenance work orders and regularly check the progress of your work throughout the facility.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of progressive maintenance repair and electronic/mechanical troubleshooting
• Willing to go back to school to earn degree or certification
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience using a computer for data entry
• Experience with using hand tools like drill, screwdriver, and soldering equipment
• Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechatronics or equivalent
• Military training and background
• 5+ years of production maintenance with electronic repair experience
• Experience with IP5000, HP Roll-to-Roll printer, Ricoh Cut Sheet Printers
• Experience with BlueCrest, APS, MPS, and EPIC inserting equipment
• Experience with APEX or Criterion sorters

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, repair, or replacement of parts and/or production equipment
• Conduct fitting and alignment of mechanical components for proper functioning
• Utilize troubleshooting techniques to provide temporary and long-term fixes to minimize downtime
• Diagnose and correct maintenance issues on Statement and Invoices Equipment, Mail Inserters, Cut Sheet Printers and Laser Printers
• Analyze and interpret schematic diagrams for electronic troubleshooting
