The Maintenance Mechanic Technician will perform maintenance on plant process equipment, including wrappers, conveyors, MFDs, checkweigher, metal detector, code dating systems, autocasers, box makers, palletizer, stretch wrapper, fork trucks and pallet trucks. This role involves performing modifications, component replacements, troubleshooting, calibration, adjustments, performance checks, lubrication, and start-up checks of equipment. The technician will also disassemble and reassemble machines for sanitation, assist operators with start-up, and perform mechanical projects as assigned, including planning, material purchase, modification, installation, and major overhauls. Additionally, the role includes sharing responsibility for maintenance and training on ink-jet code dating systems, maintaining backup documentation and programs, and providing training and stewardship for Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in the department and plant. Any other duties assigned by the TA/TL are also part of the responsibilities.
