About The Position

TIC is looking for a Master Maintenance Mechanic for their project located in Abilene, TX. This role requires a high level of expertise in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with various types of heavy equipment and diagnostic systems, as well as a strong understanding of crane mechanics. The position involves working in a demanding construction environment with irregular hours and the need to perform tasks at heights and in confined spaces.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
Must be able to maintain, diagnose, and repair all types of heavy construction equipment including hydraulic, electric, and power train systems.
Experience working with Caterpillar, Liebherr, Xtreme, Takeuchi equipment.
Experience working with CAT ET, Cummins INSITE, Diesel Laptop diagnostic systems.
Must have experience with crane mechanics - well versed with Liebherr, Kobelco, Link-belt, Tadano cranes.
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Must possess mastery level proficiency in all tasks required for position.
Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools as well as measurement tools.
Must have required tools.
Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol and non DOT physical test.

Responsibilities

Maintain, diagnose, and repair all types of heavy construction equipment including hydraulic, electric, and power train systems.
Perform maintenance on crane mechanics, including Liebherr, Kobelco, Link-belt, and Tadano cranes.
Utilize diagnostic systems such as CAT ET, Cummins INSITE, and Diesel Laptop.
Safely and efficiently use electrical, hand tools, power tools, layout tools, and measurement tools.
Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
Perform other duties as required.
