About The Position

Responsible for leading a team and troubleshooting, providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines, and facilitating change-overs. This role involves overhauling and installing new equipment, rebuilding and fabricating parts, and performing facility maintenance to ensure a clean and safe work area. The position also requires generating parts requests for inventory management and completing assigned work orders. Additionally, the Lead Maintenance Mechanic will perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
0-5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow manufacturer’s specifications and schematics.

Nice To Haves

Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational certification preferred.
1+ years of mechanical/electrical experience preferred.
Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment.
Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge preferred.
May be required to supply hand tools.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.

Perform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work area.
Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory.
Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
