About The Position

Catholic Health’s St Catherine of Siena Nursing & Rehabilitation have served the residents of the Smithtown area for more than 50 years. St. Catherine is located in the heart of Long Island, Smithtown. The Long Term care facility is a 240 bed facility. Our nurses, physicians and support staff are devoted to providing advanced health care in an environment of compassion to our employees, patients, residents, their families and our community. Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate or possess a G.E.D.
• SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to access all parts of buildings and grounds.
• Must keep good relationships with residents, supervisors and co-workers.

Nice To Haves

• Trade courses relating to above duties preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with boilers preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of high pressure boilers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attends to one or more boilers.
• Records pertinent operating information.
• Inspects, lubricates, repairs equipment.
• Cleans and paints equipment as required.
