About The Position

JLL is seeking a skilled and proactive 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic II to join our team. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair a wide range of facility and production equipment. The ideal candidate has solid trade skills and hands-on experience (certification not required), is self-motivated, and thrives in a dynamic environment while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. This position is essential to keeping our facility running smoothly and efficiently with minimal disruption.

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment
High school diploma or GED required
Strong troubleshooting ability with mechanical and electrical systems
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and motors
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and management
Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods
Willingness to work in an environment that may involve exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations

Nice To Haves

Certificate from a technical or vocational school in a related field (e.g., industrial maintenance, electrical technology)
Basic plumbing and carpentry skills

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems including HVAC, conveyors, production machinery, and other facility equipment.
Execute the scheduled preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime through lubrication, inspections, and component replacement.
Address urgent and routine maintenance requests submitted through our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in a timely and efficient manner.
Perform routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance work performed, including parts used and time spent, within the CMMS.
Communicate effectively with other shift teams to ensure seamless transitions, providing clear updates on ongoing projects, completed tasks, and any outstanding issues.
Keep maintenance shops, storage areas, and work sites clean, organized, and safe.
