Position Summary Ensure production and processing equipment operates efficiently to meet production goals. Collaborate with production staff to develop machine requirements for new product introductions. With limited supervision and minimal technical guidance, maintain and repair plant machinery and mechanical equipment. Diagnose machine issues, dismantle and replace defective parts, reassemble machines, and make necessary adjustments for optimal operation. Perform intermediate troubleshooting and provide training to less experienced maintenance staff. Expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems is required.
Requirements
- Expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems is required.
- Conducted installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment, ensuring uptime and efficiency.
- Replaced and repaired pumps, motors, augers, and hoists as part of routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Utilized PM and work order systems to schedule and track maintenance activities, optimizing equipment performance.
- Provided advanced troubleshooting support, diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Knowledge of components up to 460 volts.
Nice To Haves
- Formal Technical Training a plus.
- Two years of technical training preferred.

- Utilizing PM and work order systems for maintenance tracking.
- Providing training and instruction to less experienced maintenance staff.
- Effective communication and collaboration with engineering and other departments.
