About The Position

Medxcel is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic II for Franklin Hospital in Franklin, Wisconsin, in the Facilities department. The role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs of mechanical systems and equipment at assigned facilities. The mechanic may handle more complex assignments involving multiple systems or coordination across departments. The position requires specialized knowledge in locksmithing, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, and includes repairing heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, and ventilation systems and equipment, as well as installing and maintaining motors and specialized equipment.

Requirements

• Must meet one of the following: graduate of a trade school with 2 years of experience; 4 years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
• Specialized knowledge and expertise in locksmithing, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment for assigned facilities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
• Handle potentially complex assignments involving multiple systems or cross-departmental interaction.
• Repair heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, and ventilation systems and equipment.
• Install and maintain motors and specialized equipment.
