About The Position

The Maintenance Mechanic II performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment at assigned facilities. The role may involve more complex assignments across multiple systems or departments. It requires specialized knowledge of locksmith, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Duties include repairing heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, and ventilation systems and equipment, as well as installing and maintaining motors and specialized equipment.

Requirements

• Graduate of a trade school with 2 years of experience, or 4 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
• Specialized knowledge and expertise in locksmith, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems and equipment at assigned facilities.
• Complete more complex assignments involving multiple systems or cross-departmental interaction when assigned.
• Repair heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, and ventilation systems and equipment.
• Install and maintain motors and specialized equipment.
